    为探究提高棉花幼苗耐冷性的措施,以‘新陆早61号’为材料,研究喷施不同质量浓度(0、50、100、200 mg/L)的抗坏血酸溶液对10 ℃低温胁迫下棉花幼苗主要生长发育指标(株高、叶面积、叶片相对含水量、干物质含量)及光合参数(Pn、Gs、Tr)和叶绿素荧光参数(PIABS、Fm/F0、Fv/Fm、ABS/RC)的影响。结果表明:不同低温胁迫时间(0、1、3、5、7 d)下,喷施抗坏血酸的棉花幼苗的部分生长发育指标和光合、荧光参数优于对照(不喷施抗坏血酸溶液处理)的,其中喷施50 mg/L浓度的效果最佳;与第0天相比,50 mg/L抗坏血酸溶液处理7 d的棉花幼苗的株高、叶面积、干物质含量的增长率分别为14.59%、23.24%和17.18%,主要光合参数Pn、Tr以及Fv/Fm在低温胁迫的前3天都保持较高的水平。综上,外源喷施适宜质量浓度的抗坏血酸可使棉花幼苗保持较高的光合能力,促进低温下棉花幼苗的生长发育,从而提高棉花幼苗的耐冷性。

    Abstract:

    To explore effective measures for improving the cold tolerance of cotton seedlings, cotton cultivar ‘Xinluzao 61’ was used as the experimental material. We investigated the effects of foliar application of ascorbic acid(AsA) at four concentrations (0, 50, 100, and 200 mg/L) on major growth and developmental indices (plant height, leaf area, leaf relative water content, and dry matter content), photosynthetic parameters (Pn, Gs, Tr), and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters (PIABS, Fm/F0, Fv/Fm, ABS/RC) in cotton seedlings under 10 °C low-temperature stress. The results showed that, at different stress durations (0, 1, 3, 5, and 7 d), the growth and developmental indices as well as photosynthetic and fluorescence parameters of cotton seedlings treated with AsA were superior to those of the control (without AsA application), and 50 mg/L AsA exhibited the optimal effect. Compared with the indicators on day 0, cotton seedlings treated with 50 mg/L AsA for 7 days under low-temperature stress showed increases of 14.59%, 23.24%, and 17.18% in plant height, leaf area, and dry matter content, respectively. The main photosynthetic parameters(Pn, Tr) and Fv/Fm remained at relatively high levels during the first 3 days of low-temperature stress. In conclusion, exogenous application of an appropriate concentration of AsA can maintain high photosynthetic capacity of cotton seedlings, promote their growth and development under low-temperature stress, and thereby enhance the cold tolerance of cotton seedlings.
