Abstract:To identify the pathogen responsible for tea anthracnose in Duyun City, Guizhou Province, and to screen for effective fungicides, we isolated and purified the pathogen using tissue isolation, and definitively identified it based on Koch's postulates, morphological characteristics and molecular analysis. The efficacy of 20 selected fungicides against the isolated anthracnose pathogen was assessed using the mycelial growth rate method. The results showed that two strains, T26 and T60, were isolated from tea anthracnose leaves and identified as Colletotrichum fructicola. For the 10 chemical fungicides tested, the EC50 values against T26 and T60 ranged from 0.03 to 166.95 mg/L. Prochloraz exhibited the highest antifungal activity, with EC50 values of 0.03 mg/L and 0.07 mg/L, respectively. For the 10 biocides, the EC50 values ranged from 41.59 to 158.61 mg/L, and chitosan was the most effective, with EC50 values of 41.59 mg/L and 41.84 mg/L, respectively. Prochloraz and chitosan are recommended for the field control of tea anthracnose in Duyun.
