Abstract:Comparison test of salt tolerance on 43 rice materials at budding stage were performed. Four NaCl solutions, 0, 0.2%, 0.4% and 0.6% were used to simulate salt stress, and the germination potential and rate of germination were measured. Root length, shoot length, number of main roots, fresh weight and dry weight of roots and shoots and electrical conductivity were collected and analyzed. The results showed that with the increase of salt concentration, the roots and shoots length, root number, germination potential, germination rate and fresh weight and dry weight of roots and shoots of different rice materials showed a downward trend, while the electrical conductivity of the shoot showed an upward trend; under the same salt concentration treatment, the salt tolerance performance of different rice materials were different. Through comprehensive evaluation, six materials showed strong salt tolerance, including 3 conventional japonica rice(Huaidao No. 5 rice, Yanggeng 3491 and Koshihikari), 2 conventional indica rice(Huang Huazhan and R889), 1 indica hybrid rice(Yexiang A/Haipin 12), and two conventional indica rices(R2803 and YW01) showed stronger salt tolerance at the bud stage.
