Abstract:To explore the effect of organic fertilizer on soil organic carbon content, grape yield and quality, with use of the 5-year-old ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’ as martial, the organic fertilizer was applied continuously for 2 years(2017, 2018), the application rates were 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 t/hm2, marked as T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, respectively. The control(CK) had no fertilization. The results showed that with the increase of organic fertilizer application, the soil organic carbon content showed an increasing trend. When the fertilizer application rate was 16 t/hm2, the soil organic carbon content was the highest, which increased by 31.27% and 50.51% compared with CK in 2017 and 2018, respectively. The application of organic fertilizer has a significant effect on grape yield increase. When the application rate was 12 t/hm2, the grape yield and benefit were the highest in 2017 and 2018. Meanwhile, the organic fertilizer has a positive effect on the quality of grapes. When the application rate of organic fertilizer was 12 t/hm2 in 2017 and 2018, the contents of soluble solids, reducing sugars, soluble sugars, anthocyanins and total phenol of grape were the highest, and the soluble solids, reducing sugars, soluble sugar, anthocyanin, total phenol content and yield of grape had a significant or extremely significant positive correlation with soil organic carbon content. The linear regression equation for grape yield and soil organic carbon content is y=1 442.827x-2 979.933, R2=0.469. In summary, the application of organic fertilizer can increase the soil organic carbon content, the yield of grape and the quality of grape fruit. 12 t/hm2 organic fertilizer application in grape production is recommended.
