Abstract:The studied 67 sugarcane germplasms sampled every month from November of 2017 to March of 2018, were divided into 5 generations according to the growing years (10-20 years as the time boundary). Based on the field experiment, the five important industrial traits, brix, sucrose content, sugar content, fiber content and simple purity of sugarcane juice, were subject to variance analysis and regression analysis. The results showed that significant differences existed among all kinds of quality traits in the same generation with the coefficient of variation 2% –20% as well as the differences among the traits in different generations. The sugarcane sucrose, sugarcane juice sucrose and sugarcane juice simple purity had the interaction of different generations and months. The results of regression analysis showed that there were two significant regression relationships between generations and quality traits. With the improvement of generations, the brix, sucrose content and juice sucrose content were significantly improved, with the summit at the fifth generation and the bottom at the second generation.
