Abstract:To study the correlation between photosynthetic genes expression and the oil accumulation, we selected 9 photosynthetic genes (Bna0391450, Bna0449040, Bna0104450, Bna0501620, Bna0197350, Bna0305890, Bna0087590, Bna0084310, Bna0280620) in leaves, flower buds and seeds of canola high oil line 855 and low oil line 868 as material. . The results showed that except for the Bna0280620 gene in the high oil line 855 and the Bna0084310 gene in the seeds of the low oil line 868 after 15 days of pollination that was not expressed, the 9 genes were expressed in the leaves, flower buds and seeds at different stages after pollination. The expression of the genes increased first and then decreased. In the high oil line 855, the peak appeared 20 days after pollination, and the low oil line 868, the peak appeared 25 days after pollination. In the two lines, the difference in photosynthetic gene expression was concentrated in the seedling leaves and seeds at 20 days after pollination; the difference in oil accumulation was mainly 30-40 days after pollination. In addition to Bna0197350 and Bna0280620, there was a negative correlation between oil accumulation and photosynthetic gene expression in 855 with no significance. In addition to Bna0501620 gene, there was a negative correlation between oil accumulation and photosynthetic gene expression in 868 with no significance. It indicated that the photosynthetic gene of rapeseed was expressed in seeds, but did not affect the accumulation of oil in seeds.
