The temperature inside the aeroponics cultivation box and the temperature of the lettuces’ roots were simulated and predicted by computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method, after the atomization of the nutrient solution at 18 ℃ and 22 ℃ under the external temperature of the aeroponics cultivation box at 18 ℃ and 20 ℃. The results show that the difference between the measured value and the simulated value of the internal temperature of the aeroponics cultivation box is less than 2.9 ℃ after the atomization of the nutrient solution at 18 ℃ and 22 ℃ with the average relative error of 8.1% and mean square root error of 1.2 ℃. It is shown that the CFD model is accurate and effective.
