Abstract:In this study, p-nitrophenol method was used to determine the activities of lipase and lipoprotein lipase(LPL) from different tissues and organs in normal feeding, starving for 14 days, and re-feeding for 3 days of Cyprinus carpio. The results showed that the activities of lipase from muscle, fat, and heart in starving group were significant decreased(P<0.05), while the activities of LPL from fat and heart in starving group were higher (P<0.05) than that of normal feeding group. Except for LPL from adipose, the activities of lipase and LPL in each tissues and organs of Cyprinus carpio were significant increased(P<0.05) at 3 days after refeeding, and displays obvious compensatory effect.
