Abstract:To deal the sorting inconsistence of tobacco leaf by chemical index single dimensionless method and by sensory quality evaluation, the sichuan guangyuan tobacco leaf was investigated by correlation analysis of its chemical composition and sensory quality first using the method of initial value, the mean and standard deviation, then using the average method, Board method, and Copeland method for combining of the sorting results obtained by single evaluation, and the evaluation results are loop corrected to get the final order. The results showed that the chemical indexes influencing the quality of guangyuan flue-cured tobacco were total nitrogen, reducing sugar, total sugar, nicotine, potassium, nitrogen-base ratio, sugar-base ratio, starch and potassium-chlorine ratio.
