A direction and angle leveling device for the orchard lifting platform was designed by Hunan Agricultural University to solve the problem of poor stability of the orchard lifting platform. In this device, rotation of the working platform is driven by the hydraulic motor to adjust horizontal axis of the working platform and the working platform is leveled by adjusting the angle of between vertical axis and horizontal plane of the working platform through the hydraulic cylinder. The debugging results showed the leveling error ranged from –1° to +1°, and the platform can adapt to the demand of leveling against a slope range of 0° to 15°.
