Based on simple survey on stands structure, validation survey in the forest zone and comprehensive field survey in water fields at urban wetland park in Guanyintang, Bishan county, the biodiversity data were collected. According to the data statistics, the number of species of plant, bird, fish, mammal, amphibian, reptile and insect were 381 (112 out of them were aquatic plants, and 269 out of them were terrestrial plants), 35, 21, 6, 3, 5, 15 respectively. Biodiversity evaluation system, including both qualitative and quantitative indices, was made up of species richness, diversity of ecosystem types, species endemism, degree of invasive species based on De Feier method and AHP and followed by a scientific, representative, applicable principle. According to the evaluation system, a comprehensive assessment for the park biodiversity level position was conducted after each index weight and assignment criteria was strictly assigned, and the superior result was gotten. According to the national biodiversity conservation strategy 2011- 2030, ecological construction for the park should be set about from following aspects, maintaining the balance of ecosystem, creating natural habitats, ensuring healthy water environment, protecting atmosphere and soil, and ensuring sustainable development.
