Abstract:To analyze the genetic diversity of polyembryonic ramie, 21 pairs of twin ramie seedlings, a bunch of tri-embryony seedlings and one normal seedling were screened out from the F1 progenies of Jingxi qing and Zhongzhu No.1, and SRAP(sequence related amplified polymorphism)markers were applied in analyzing the genomes of polyembryonic ramie and their parents. The results showed that a total of 159 polymorphic bands were detected with an average of 6.8 polymorphic bands per primer pair. The genetic similarities of 48 materials ranged from 0.360 to 0.876. UPGMA cluster analysis showed that 48 materials were classified into four cluster groups with genetic similarity of 0.51 and group A was further classified into Ⅰ, Ⅱand Ⅲ sub-groups with genetic similarity of 0.586. There was no material showed total consistency in polymorphic bands with another, so the individuals had nothing to do with apomixis. The hereditary basis of polyembryonic ramie from the same parents was revealed in this study, which provided the theoretical foundations for utilizing polyembryonic ramie in the future.
