The extracted compounds were analyzed by GC/MS. The results showed that total content of volatiles was significantly different between resistant and susceptible plants, and the total content of volatiles were decreasing with increasing resistance of rice and increasing number of the resistant genes to Nilaparvata lugens (Stål).
